Stamping:
Stamps:
My favorite stamps are photo polymer (clear) stamps. There are two different kinds of clear stamps, polymer stamps are high quality and cost more than acrylic stamps which are less “sticky” and don’t stamp quite as well but are less expensive. I am not a huge fan of rubber stamps, I much prefer clear. With that being said, I don’t really have a specific preference of companies, so long as the stamps are polymer. The one company I do NOT like is PaperTrey Ink. I have several sets that I bought a few year ago and they have turned yellow and gotten “sticky” and gross since then, even though I’ve washed them in warm, soapy water and store them just like I store all of my other brands of stamps. Just a word of caution 🙂 Some of the stamp companies I buy from frequently include:
- Lawn Fawn
- My Favorite Things
- Paper Smooches
- Wplus9
- Hero Arts
- Avery Elle
- Technique Tuesday
Stamping Tools:
Stamp Cleaner:
For cleaning my stamps, I use a baby wipe, however if it doesn’t get it clean, I use Ranger Inkssentials Rub-It Scrub-It Rubber Stamp Cleaning Pad, 6-Inch Square It’s inexpensive, easy to clean and it works better than any of the expensive stamp scrubbers I’ve bought in the past, including Stampin’ Up’s scrubber!
Again, I use baby wipes but when they don’t get my stamp completely clean, I use Stampin’ Up’s Stampin’ Mist. It smells wonderful and always cleans and conditions my stamps.
Stamping Tools:
. I tried the smaller one by Martha Stewart with the foam feet but didn’t like it because the foam feet kept getting ink on them and transferring it to my projects. That was a bummer.
I also have Apple Pie Memories Stamp Blocks and use those frequently. They are another favorite of mine.
Inks:
I have several favorite inks but these are my top faves!
That does it for my favorite inks. There are many other types and brands of inks. To learn more about the difference between dye and pigment inks, etc., click here for a previous post I created explaining them all.
