Handmade Bazzill paper flowers = awesome freebie!

March 28, 2009 by Kat 3 Comments

See the new, pretty flower bouquet on my blog?

Check this out! I was searching online earlier today for ways to make your own Bazzill Flowers (always trying to save money as you know lol), and I just happened to stumble upon a a website called “They’re Beautiful“. Then I noticed that it was local (Seattle) so I decided to have a look around. It’s not often you find someone doing something that is new, different, unique, fun and free but this is all of that!

This is my newest, favorite find on the web! You can send free virtual flowers to your friends and family online, you can have your own greenhouse where you water your flowers AND if you have a website or blog, you can copy a bit of html onto your page and voila! You have an instant, free flower bouquet that changes every day on your web page!

What makes this so much fun for me (besides it being pretty and free) is how original and unique the flower bouquets are! One of the things that makes it so unique is that each of the flowers that make up the bouquets are made by hand out of Bazzill Basics scrapbooking paper, except for the sunflower petals which are made out of tissue paper.

They scan every flower they make to create the bouquets you see on their website. It’s not a photo, it’s not clipart, it’s a real hand-made paper flower that is scanned in and arranged the way you want it. And did I mention that it is all free? lol

Wanna know how they do it? Visit “The Making of the Flowers” for a behind-the-scenes look!

I encourage you to visit “They’re Beautiful” and while you are there, why not add a beautiful daily flower bouquet to your blog or website, send a bouquet of flowers to someone you love and heck, start your own greenhouse! I did! After all, it’s the only way I can keep flowers alive! If you like what they are doing, let them know, they are a small business which means they still read their emails and appreciate our feedback 🙂

FYI, This is not a paid endorsement, just my personal review 🙂

How totally cool and awesome. Kat you are fantastic, in so many ways. The flowers are beautiful. Your words about negativity and positive power are book worthy and really hit home here, after a long day. Thank you………
