Hi everyone, today was a very sad day for my family as we lost someone very important to all of us. My brother’s mother in law (Cindy) passed away from (stupid) cancer.
She was a crafty genius! She baked and decorated cakes like nobody’s business, sewed clothes, costumes, curtains, you name it! She loved all crafts but most of all, she loved her family, friends and God.
Her passing was long and painful, something you wouldn’t wish on anyone but now she is in heaven with her other son who passed away several years ago and her other loved ones. She had a strong faith in God and I believe that’s what got her through.
A few weeks before Cindy passed, she asked me on skype if I would make two scrapbooks for her of her son (who was murdered a few years ago), one for his sister (My SIL), and one for his young son, so that he would know him as he grew up. It is my honor and privilege to do so, I only hope I can do a good job.
My sister in law has lost both of her parents in the last several months. She cared for her mom every day and watched her die an agonizing death. My heart breaks for her…she is the strongest person I know. I don’t think I could have done it myself. Anyway, I just thought I’d share that because many of you knew she was sick and have been praying for my family. Thank you so much for your prayers and well wishes.
