Kat Scrappiness Design Team Member, Nikki has a card and layout to share with us today!
I’ve been playing with my Kat Scrappiness goodies, and wanted to share my latest projects.
The first is a card, using another one of those adorable digi stamps I love:
I used the felt rolled 3D flowers to accent the corners, along with some seam binding and a couple of tiny roses from Wild Orchid Crafts. The beautiful patterned paper is from Crate Paper’s Paper Heart collection.
Next is a layout I did of my husband Zack and I. He’s always making silly expressions like this, but I love this picture anyway:
I love these chipboard butterflies from Kat’s shop. As a bonus, she includes the little hearts that get cut out of the wings, which I also used on the layout. A couple layers of paint and some sanding gave it a really cool look. I used some twine to turn these layered hearts into balloons, and I love the dimension they add to the page. This is one of those layouts that ended up looking nothing like my original concept, but I’m really happy with how it turned out!
There’s still plenty of time to pick up some Valentine’s goodies, so head on over to Kat Scrappiness! Thanks for visiting!

Thanks Nikki for sharing your creativity and talents with us and thanks to all our viewers for stopping by today!
