UPDATE: PROBLEM SOLVED (See below for solution)
For about two weeks now, every time I load the YouTube page, my screen locks up for 40-50 seconds. I am using Chrome and I have AdBlock installed. I checked on facebook and I am not the only one experiencing this problem so I googled it and found nothing recent. If you know what is causing this or how to fix it, could you drop me a note? SOLUTION: The culprit turned out to be the AdBlock extension for Chrome. Once I uninstalled that, and installed a new one called AdBlock Plus Pro Chrome (free), the page loads just fine now.
