Here are some step by step instructions along with photos to help you activate your wireless card and register your machine/set up your new account with ScanNCut Canvas.
Start out by clicking on the tools button:
Scroll down to the 6th page of options using the up and down arrow keys and select “WLAN Network” and click “ON”
Then select “Setup Wizard” and then “SSID”. This is where will enter your personal wireless router’s network key. (This is the passphrase you use to set up wireless on any device in your home. It’s usually located on the back of your modem/router).
Once you have setup the wireless network, you will see this screen:
Click on “Next” and this is what you will see:
Click on “Next” again and it will ask you to enter your activation code which you will find on the back of your wireless card:
Scratch off the silver coating to reveal your code and enter it where asked. Once you complete this step, you will see this:
This is where you will want to get on your computer and go to the following url: http://scanNcutCanvas.brother.com and follow the instructions to create a new account.
Once you have created your account at the url above, it will send you a confirmation email immediately. You need to click on the link in that email to confirm your account. Once that is done, click on the icon at the top right of your page that has your username next to it. This is what mine looks like:
Click on that icon or your username and then scroll half way down the page and Click on Get “PIN Code”.
The screen will then ask you to enter the number shown on your SNC2 display screen. It looks like this:
Once you enter that number on your computer, the PIN number will be shown to you and you can then enter it into your SNC2 machine.
Congratulations! You have now activated your online account and wireless card. You can login to Canvas and create!
