Hi everyone! Today I want to share some photos and a video tour of my craft room. I promised it a year ago and I kept procrastinating until I finally did it a few days ago! I’ll show you the video first and if you want to skip that and just see pictures, scroll down 🙂
Photo Tour of Kat’s Craft Room
My craft room is actually the “eat in: area off my kitchen. Here is an overview shot of the room.
Starting on the left side of my room…this photo shows the left end of the left side of my room. My 12 x 12 paper unit is on the end, and on the all is my embellishment center which I painted black several years ago. My cutterpillar is below that and under the counter is a bin that holds 12×12 collections, my filing cabinet and a storage unit for packing supplies for my business, Kat Scrappiness.

I just watched your video of your craft room and have some questions.
1. Is it always so neat and tidy????
2. Where did you buy that rolling craft room storage unit – the one with the lined baskets in it?
3. Where do you store your copic markers?
Kat says
Hi thanks for your questions. It’s usually that neat and tidy because I run a business out of that room too so I have to be organized and clean to be able to work. The rolling cart can be found here: http://kathleendriggers.com/it-all-started-on-pinterest/ and lastly, my copics are in my bedroom but here is how I store them: http://kathleendriggers.com/copic-marker-storage/

OK…. your room is TOO neat…get in there and create, then show us what it really looks like 🙂 Ok, so really I love it. Makes me feel mine needs to be cleaned up, but to do so I really need to take EVERYTHING out and rearrange it, and hubby doesn’t want to help ;( And I can’t move it myself. Wish I were closer to come play.

Enjoyed your tour! Surprised that many of the things you’ve done, I’ve done as well (e.g. wood embellishments inside your Alex :))… And you have a Scan & Cut! So do I. I font see many with one! Since I’ve gotten mine, I rarely even turn on my cricut! My craft room is in an extra bedroom upstairs – wonderful view out the front of the house… In hind site, I should’ve chosen the larger room LOL – but, I liked the view..

It’s a great space, Kat, beautifully organized! I’m a neatnik, too, but we sure do get our spaces messy when we are in the midst of creating, don’t we?! We just put it back afterwards and start again! Thank you for the tour!! Hugs, Darnell

I like your space and how you organized. I see some of Jennifer McGuire in your room, which I love. To answer your questions I like to know the products that are used and if possible where to buy them. Very helpful to know where to get them. The size of cabinets is good info. Some of us use 8 1/2 X11 paper and some use 12 X12 paper paper storage is important. I’m visual so I like to use clear containers. I struggle on organizing my room. I look forward to seeing your revamp. Have fun

Thank you! Yes Jennifer is a big inspiration when it comes to organizing (and crafting!).
