Hi everyone! As you may know if you follow my blog, this is how I used to store my sequins, however, the product I used has been discontinued so I have been searching for a new solution. I did find some inexpensive containers from Harbor Freight, but I have so acquired so many sequins and beads that I needed something a little more compact.
A couple of the ladies in the Stamping Enablers Group on Facebook use this system and after having considered it for a few months I decided to take the plunge and switch my sequins over to the Darice 82-Piece Elizabeth Ward Bead Storage Solutions Tiny Container Storage Tray.
There are several options for this storage tray and containers.
You can purchase the 82 piece set which contains 82 Tiny Containers that measure about 2″ x 1″ x 1/2:
They also have a 45 piece set that contains 3 large containers, 10 medium containers, 16 small containers, 13 tiny containers
Or you can make your own by purchasing the tray and containers separately.
These are the available containers that go in the tray:
The Tiny Containers measure
- 3/4 inch by 2 inch by 1 1/8 inch size and cost approximately $5.89 for a 13 pack.
The Small Containers measure
- 3/4 inch by 2 inch by 1 1/8 inch size and cost approximately $7.10 for an 8 pack.
The Medium Containers measure
- 1 3/4 inch by 2 inch by 1 1/8 inch size and cost approximately $5.90 for a 5 pack.
The Large Containers measure
- 3 inch by 2 inch by 1 1/8 inch size and cost approximately $5.62 for a 3 pack.
I have to warn you, when you start customizing them, it can get pricey so you may want to do it little by little. It is an investment but it’s so worth it to be organized, especially when your space is limited.
