UGH! I woke up this morning and felt something damp next to me and when I rolled over I found a 115 pound Wet, Muddy, St. Bernard dog laying on my bed. What makes it even worse is that I fell asleep with my sheets in the dryer last night so there were no sheets on my bed. I remember thinking, I’ll just lay here until the dryer buzzes and the next thing I know, I’m laying next to a wet muddy mess!
I’m not sure how to clean it because it’s a special mattress that bends with my bed when I raise the head or feet. If you get it wet at all, it leaves a dark colored stain, I know because I’ve spilled water and juice on it before. (well my nieces have anyway). So do I chance it and steam clean the mattress? I think I have to, I can’t sleep next to wet dog dirty-ness (LOL). I’m so frustrated at myself for falling asleep before the sheets were dry and with Abby for always choosing my bed as her place to go when she gets wet and muddy! How can you stay mad at a face like this though?
Any ideas out there? Would you use your carpet cleaner to steam clean it (not sure why it’s called a steam cleaner when it’s really just water lol) or just try to spot clean it. (the spot is as big as her though)…
