Today Tyler and I completed one of his online assessments and his therapist came to the house for his weekly session. Homeschooling is such a constant battle, it would be so much easier to send him to public school but he is doing so much better here at home that I would never send him back!
I have been working on creating my new scrap room for a long time now and I am having a hard time getting it put together and organized so I can ACTUALLY start scrapbooking; so last night I finally broke down and ordered my wishlist from scrapbook.com. Here is what I bought:
I have been using cropper hopper’s vertical paper holders but I hate them and have been wanting to try these stackable paper trays forever and I can’t wait for them to get here!
Next, I’ve been looking FOREVER and EVERYWHERE for a way to store my ribbon cards and have not been able to find anything so I ordered two of each of these. They are called the Cropper Hopper Shelf-it Series. They are magnetic and stackable and I really hope they work well. They are the exact size needed to hold all three sizes of my ribbon cards (also from cropper hopper).
This one holds the 1 1/2 x 3 ribbon cards
The second one holds the 3 x 3 ribbon cards
And finally, because I’ve ruined my fair share of stickers, paper, etc…I found this!
It’s called Un-do and it’s an adhesive remover that is safe for paper!
Most of the things I’ve purchased for my scrap room are from thrift stores…and therefore, do not match. I’m a little OCD about things matching so I have a HUGE mess in my house until I can figure out how to MAKE it all match and fit into what used to be my dining area of the kitchen.
I will take pictures of the room and my organization efforts as soon as I can, because I’m disabled, there are times when I am unable to do anything for days or even weeks at a time and I’m in the middle of a long episode right now (which explains why there are piles of STUFF all over the house!).
Well it’s time to try to get Tyler to do some more of his homeschooling now that we have both had a break. I’ll post more soon! Thanks for visiting!

I love to see before and after pictures of craft rooms…there’s nothing better than creative chaos!
Undo- the best thing to ever be invented for scrapbooking! I’ve used it for years! Love the stuff!
I have an 18 year old nephew who has Aspergers and one of my close friends has a 6 year old son who was diagnosed with it in Dec 2007. I stand up and applaud any mother who goes above and beyond to help their kids like you are doing with your children 🙂
