What a Great Birthday I Had!

Thanks to all my great friends on facebook for the birthday wishes, it was so nice to wake up and see your messages.  My birthday actually lasted two days because I didn’t feel well so we put off dinner and cake until tonight.  My mom, step-dad, and my sons took me to my 2nd favorite restaurant “Kings Wok” for dinner and then to my moms for cake.  Then my older son (Justin)’s friend Ashley came over (she’s like my adopted daughter), and we had a delicious Spice cake with Chocolate icing made by my sweet mom.  🙂

Mom gave me a Gingerbread VILLAGE (not a  house but a village!) to put together with Tyler and Tyler gave me two stuffed animal bears that he picked out and paid for himself!  He was so cute and proud it just made my heart smile!

After that we came to my house to have another cake with Justin’s girlfriend (Dominique), Nicole, Colleen, Cameron, Debra and Josh.  They gave me some more stuffed animals and a pair of elmo shorts that say “Tickle Me” on the backside! lol   It was a lot of fun and I am now sitting here while Ashley, Josh and Katie make the Gingerbread Village with Tyler.  What a wonderful evening!

I bought my mom’s Christmas present today, and since she doesn’t read my blog I can tell you what it is!!!  It’s the Cricut cartridge “Nifty Fifties”.

I got a great deal at HSN.com.

Well I’m off to build a gingerbread house, I’ll post pictures once they are done.
