Which white ink pad is the best? Good question! There is one thing I’ve learned about white ink over the years and that is, “there is no perfect white ink pad” yet! The answer really depends on what you are looking for in a white ink pad. Are you looking for even coverage or a bright white? Well I’ve done a demonstration and comparison video for you below comparing 5 of the top white ink pads on the market. I will have a list of the products used in this video at the bottom of this post.
First let’s take a look at how each ink pad stamped out on my (messy) chart!

In my opinion Memento Luxe Wedding dress won out for brightest and whitest, then Lawn Fawn Yeti in second and Gina K in third. Hero Arts Unicorn wins only for even coverage but definitely not bright white. What do you think? Staz On was good but you have to re-ink it every time you use it and that’s too expensive for me so I only use it for transparent projects.

Great video Kat. I know a lot of people don’t like using Stazon because of the cleanup. I also think it has the best coverage. A tip for easier cleanup is to ink the stamp first with Versamark ink then apply the Stazon….cleans much easier with a baby wipe.
Thanks, Kat! Which white pen did you use? I haven’t been happy with the ones I’ve tried so far, and yours had nice, crisp, solid lines.
Hi Willie, I use this pen http://goo.gl/JWNNtM
Thanks, that was very helpful!
