Holiday Card featuring Mama Elephant’s Pizazz Pieces Dies

November 17, 2015 by Kat Leave a Comment

Holiday Card

Today’s card  was made using the “Winter Sparrow” stamp set from Lawn Fawn and the Mama Elephant Pizazz Pieces Dies.

I started out with some Gina K Layering weight white cardstock and distress inks to create my blue background.  I then used the Falling Snow stencil from SSS and my Aleene’s Glitter Snow to create the snowy background.

I die cut my red cardstock using the largest frame in the Pizazz Pieces Die and then moved on to the snowy background and used the tag die in that same set.  The dies come with a circle and a pinked circle as well so I cut some vellum with the larger circle and some more Gina K white cardstock with the pinked circle and stamped my images on that.  I also stamped some tiny snowflakes on the background of the pinked white circle and embossed them using Judikins Iridescent Sparkle embossing powder.

Once I colored the birds with my copic markers, I added some Xmas Red Stickles to the hat and scarf and then sprinkled some gemstones around the card.  This card was super fun to make and as you will see in the near future, I’m really putting this die set to work this year on my holiday cards!

I hope you like this card and that it can perhaps inspire you to make your own. The products I used to create this card are listed and linked below for your convenience.
