Marker Storage (Other than Copics)

Kat's Other Marker Storage Solutions

Hi everyone!  I’m here today to talk about Marker Storage Solutions. (Other) meaning other than Copic Markers.  If you want to see how I store my copics, click here.  (updated copic marker storage post coming soon!)   Today we are talking about all other markers!

There are no affiliate links in today’s post.

I’ve tried many solutions over the years and I finally found one that works for me.  Here is how they look now.

Kat's Marker Storage

The Storage bins on the left have a clear, hinged lid so I can see inside easily.  The ones on the right are clear. I prefer the grey ones (which also come in clear but grey matched my craft room).

As you can see each bin fits a full set of each marker type labeled.  I have the following markers in each bin:

  • Tim Holtz Distress Markers
  • Spectrum Noir Sparkle Pens
  • Zig Clean Color Real Brush Markers
  • Tombow Markers
  • Altenew Watercolor Pens Markers/Pens
  • Arteza Real Brush Pens
  • Memento Dual Markers

They are easy to clean (I had one watercolor marker that leaked) and it cleaned up very easily!   I like that the lid is hinged so you can’t lose it.  (If it’s possible to lose something, I would LOL).  I also like how sturdy they are and how they are stackable!

The bins come in different sizes but this is the size I used:  7.1 x 10.7 x 3.7.  Here is a screen shot of the different sizes available:

Bin Sizes

They also come with labels but I didn’t them, I created my own using my PTouch Cube Plus Label Maker.

Clear

I got a pack of four (4) bins for $46.00 which isn’t too bad when you see how much they are to buy separately.  You can get them at Walmart.com here.(I’m not sure why the link is crossed out but it does work.)

I hope this post helps you with your storage solutions in your own craft room.  Do you have a marker storage solution you want to share with my readers?  Post it in the comments below!

Happy Crafting!

Kat

Very nice Kat!! I have mine all over the place and need to do something like that with the different kind of markers I have. Thanks for the idea!

I use Stampin Up clear thick stamp cases. Tight closure, can get 2 layers of markers in each one, so I can clearly see what colors are in each one.
