From Sketch to Scrapbook Page – Kat Style!

I was at my local scrapbook store the other day and decided to pick up some valentine’s day papers so that I could scrapbook my grandfather and new grandmother’s one year anniversary and how in love they are.  (Newlyweds!)  I saw the cutest collection called “Love You More” by Imaginisce”, so I picked out my favorite papers from the collection and the sticker sheet and I was off!

I rushed home and printed two photos of my grandparents on my NEW TOY, the Canon SELPHY CP900 Black Wireless Color Photo Printer (which I am LOVING!!!).

This is the sketch that I used (found on pinterest) and below the sketch is my interpretation using my new papers and stickers   The first picture was taken on their wedding day and the second picture was taken on their one year anniversary.

I plan on mailing this layout to them for their Valentine’s Day presents, they live in SC and I’m near Seattle so it’s the best I can do from a distance.  I sure hope they like it!
