Hi guys, I hope you are all having a good week. I made a canvas wall hanging to go on the wall above my television in my craft room some time ago and forgot to show it to you guys so I thought I’d do that now.
It was fun and easy to make! I bought a canvas, painted it with three shades of turquouise to make an ombre background (Just added white to my turquoise paint for the lighter shades). Then I designed this saying in my Silhouette software so that the letters were connected and cut out in as few pieces as possible. Then I cut the saying out of white glitter paper with my Cameo.
I felt like it needed a little something so I used some white silk ribbon and my heart punch and punched out three gold glitter hearts and hung them from the top left corner. One to represent me, Justin and Tyler. Then I stuck a flower in the bottom right corner. Why? Because everything altered needs a flower right? LOL Here’s how it turned out:
I’m not sold on the flower but the rest I like. I think it would look good with a white, ornate looking frame so I’ll be on the lookout for one at the thrift stores. Thanks for subscribing/reading my blog. I really enjoy sharing my projects with you guys and your feedback means the world to me.
