Happy Thanksgiving to all of my US friends and family! Happy Thursday to everyone else 🙂 hehe My parents drove to Idaho to visit with my brother and his family (and my son Justin) and I stayed behind with Tyler to watch all of our dogs. This will be the first Thanksgiving I’ve spent away from Justin and my parents! Tyler and I have decided to go to a local restaurant for dinner today and then shopping at Michaels (my idea) lol because they are having a huge Thanksgiving day sale!
Onto my news…I have good news and bad news, the good news is that Justin is doing great and just got his first job as a lifeguard at an indoor water park in Idaho! I’m so excited for him. Tyler is also doing very well in school and is getting along great! The bad news is that I went to the doctor yesterday and my test results showed that I have rheumatoid arthritis on top of everything else. As you can imagine, I’m not thrilled with this news but I’m just going to keep on taking it one day at a time and try not to think too much about what it could mean down the line.
Here are a few projects I’ve been working on. This first card is one that I made for a friend of mine whose birthday is coming up. It’s the first card I’ve ever made with bling and flowers, it’s not my usual style but I have to say these IamRoses flowers are addictive! The coloring is not great on the image but it’s my first colored image so be nice! lol
This is what I stamp on the back of all of my cards. It is a created by stamp that I combined with a little kitty face 🙂 (Created by Kat LOL)
This next project is an accordian mini album that I made for my Granddad for Christmas using the Times & Seasons paper collection by Echo Park. It’s my first accordian album and my 2nd ever mini.
This first picture is the front of the box that holds the mini.
This is the mini itself.
Here is a short video showing each page (it’s very short because I hate those long mini album videos LOL)
Thanks for stopping by today, I hope you have a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend!
