My dear friend Krystal, is moving to Idaho this week and I wanted to make her a card to say goodbye. I ended up realizing I don’t have a lot of “Goodbye” type stamps or dies so I was lucky enough to look through my Evernote Inventory and find a couple of stamps sets that worked. Unfortunately neither are available anymore but I did share and link the other products that I used to create this card in the supplies section below, if you are interested in them.
So as I mentioned, I used a retired stamp set to create the little house. I paper pieced it using an older 6×6 paper pad and glued the little house together. Then I used my white gel pen to color in the windows and my black gel pen to outline the house, windows and door.
I cut some cute swirly clouds using textured cardstock from my stash and layered them using foam tape. Next, I cut the grass using the Grassy Hills Dies by My Favorite Things. Finally I stamped the sentiment on the front page and the inside of the page using a stamp set called Farewell by Mudra (Available in India). She seemed to like it a lot when I gave it to her and hopefully it will remind her of me when she sees it 🙂
Here are the available supplies that I used to create this card.
