Hi everyone! I’m so sorry it’s been so long since I blogged but to be honest I don’t like to blog when things aren’t going well and we’ve been struggling quite a bit around here. Nothing drastic but just a daily struggle.
I haven’t been able to scrapbook so that’s why you haven’t seen any projects from me. Because I’ve accumulated so much stuff since starting Kat Scrappiness, I have had to make a lot of changes to my scrap room so I hope to start a new, regular series of blog posts on scrap room organization soon. I just need to get a few things under control first 🙂
For those of you wanting to know how Justin is doing, he is doing the same. Still battling the demons every day but he’s drinking Kratom Tea to help with the cravings for opiates and it seems to be working. I’m not so sure how good this stuff is for you but it does help him not use and he is an adult so there’s not much I can say about it. I’ve realized how powerless I am over his addiction and that all I can do is try my best and leave the rest up to him (and God). I appreciate the sweet messages that you send me and the prayers that are being said for Justin. He truly needs them and we both appreciate them more than you know!
Tyler is 6’2″ now, I swear that kid won’t stop growing! He turns 16 on April 18th! I can’t believe it! My kids aren’t really kids anymore! He has a girlfriend that he’s ultra-serious about (although to be fair, he’s always ultra serious about all of them hahaha) and he is really a good kid, not getting into trouble but he school is a terrible struggle and his behavior sucks. I’ll leave it at that lol
Mom is pretty much the same, they have changed her medication a little but she doesn’t like it because it makes her nauseous so I’m not sure she’s actually taking it the way she should be.
Here are a couple of recent pictures that I found on my iphone of the family 🙂

My Sweet Abby Girl!
As always, I hope you are all doing great and I will try to post more often. Hopefully, the scrap room organization series and some projects if I can find the time! Kat Scrappiness keeps me fairly busy these days. Much love!

My thoughts and prayers are with you daily, Kat. It’s not easy living and dealing with a loved one addicted. Take your time in healing, and time for yourself…we’ll be here.
