This is an update to my original post from 2014 where I shared my favorite cardstocks and scrapbooking albums. My tastes change over time as new products come out and old products retire so I’m updating my list to share with you again today. I will try to do this at least once a year or so.
Cardstock for Card Making
My favorite cardstocks for card making/card bases include the following:
Gina K Designs Pure Luxury Heavy Base Weight Card Stock
This is by far, my all time favorite card stock and all I will be purchasing from here on out. I have, in the past, been a fan of Papertrey Ink and Bazzill Card Shoppe card stocks but Gina K’s card stock blows them out of the water. It is smooth and thick, perfect for card bases and comes in a multitude of colors that match her inks. At $6.95 for 25 sheets I find it affordable as well.
Essentials by Ellen 40 lb Vellum
While it is a little pricey, I love this vellum. It’s great for card making and scrapbooking projects of all kinds.
We R Memory Keepers Classic Leather 3-Ring Album
This is the only album I use. I have converted all of my old albums over to these. They are made well, made of real leather and are 3 ring binder type albums which makes moving pages around easier! Great quality albums and they come in many colors.
We R Memory Keepers Ring Page Protectors, 12 by 12-Inch, 50-Pack
These are the page protectors I use. They are strong and made to go in a three ring binder. I buy them in the 50 pack because it’s more economical.
I hope this post helps you with your card making cardstock and scrapbooking album/page protector needs. These items are what I personally use and recommend.
