*I am NOT affiliated with Stamp n Storage in any way, I am just happy with the product I purchased.
** UPDATE: Stamp n Storage was kind enough to give me a coupon code to share with my readers! If you use discount code InkPad15 it will give you 15% off of their Ink Pad Holders until June 20th. Feel free to share this! http://stampnstorage.com.
I recently changed the way I store my ink pads and am so happy with the result that I wanted to share it with you! My old Ink Pad Storage can be found here.
Stamp n Storage was having a coupon code sale a few weeks ago and I was able to get a GREAT deal on this ink pad storage piece. It is the SLIM 120 Ink Pad Holder. Now don’t get me wrong, it was still pricey but I had saved up and when I saw the coupon code, I jumped on it! I’m so glad I did!
When I chose this piece, I had NO IDEA I would fill it up immediately! I honestly thought I had about 60 ink pads and that this would give me “room to grow”. However, once I started adding my inks, I quickly realized I had a lot more inks that I realized!
This is what mine looks like all filled up: (Click the image to view full size)
I haven’t decided whether or not I will paint it and if so, what color; so I am just leaving it as is for now.
What Brands fit in this ink pad holder?
I have the following brands of inks stored in this piece:
- Avery Elle
- Mama Elephant
- Memento Luxe
- Memento
- Ranger
- Lawn Fawn
- WPlus9
- Hero Arts
- Altenew (my new favorite ink!)
- Brilliance
- and a few stragglers from misc. companies.
The ones that don’t fit include:
- Distress Inks
- CTMH
- Stampin’ Up
As you can tell from the photo, I still store my distress inks in this Best Craft Organizer – PortaInk Dual Swivel Travelers which spins around and has storage on top for reinkers, etc. It costs $47.99 when it’s not on sale and you can get it by clicking on the link above.
If you are going to store distress inks in this holder, you will need to purchase the inserts, they are called Portaink Standard Ink Pad Inserts and they cost $9.49 for a set of 24 (you need two packs if you are going to fill the organizer with all distress inks).
CTMH and Stampin Up’ Inks also fit in this storage piece so now I have an organized home for ALL my ink pad!
Ink Pad Labels
Here is a closer photo of my ink pad labels: (Click on the image to view full size)
I used White Uncoated Labels – 1/4 x 2 1/4 Rectangle (LT922-84) labels from Planet Label and you can use coupon code PlanetPlus for 10% off through November, 2015!
If you have any questions about the products I use to store my ink pads, or products I’ve used in the past, please feel free to contact me, or leave a comment and I will get back to you right away!
