Hi guys, well I took a break from unpacking and work and life in general to help my son’s friend make birthday invitations for her 16th birthday. She is a Hello Kitty fanatic! This is what we came up with:
I used a free Silhouette cut file for the Hello Kitty Face which you can find here. I created the inside of the card using Microsoft Word and printed it out on cardstock in my printer. It was super easy and fun (although glueing all of the pieces of Hello Kitty’s little hairbow was rather tedious to do for fifteen cards LOL)
Next, I saw this free printable on Pinterest and wanted to make something out of it so I found some polaroid frames at Michael’s (Recollections brand) which are 4×4 and I used TH Distress Ink in Peacock Feathers to change it from white to a beautiful teal color. I popped a gemstone heart over the O in the word You and wrapped some twine around it and Voila! A cute little wall decoration for my scrap room!
I haven’t yet gotten my camera all set up and I haven’t started scrapbooking again just yet but I’m working on it! I have company coming in from Las Vegas next week and I’m so excited, but also trying to get the house unpacked enough to look decent also! LOL
I hope you are all doing well and as always, thanks so much for subscribing to my blog 🙂
