A few months ago, I posted reviews on the products I purchased from Scrapbook.com and I got a message on their message board saying I had won a gift certificate to the their store for posting reviews. Well I finally got around to spending it (plus some lol) and thought I’d share what I got with you.
First let me say that when I got my order, it was so fun because when I opened the box, I thought I had won something because it looked like a present. It was wrapped all pretty with wrapping paper and ribbon (real, reusable ribbon). Here is a picture of my package (it was really pretty bright yellow ribbon but I still haven’t figured out how to use my new camera yet!)
I usually only buy things that are on sale, with a coupon or free shipping but this stuff was almost free! The prices at scrapbook.com are not the cheapest but I have always had positive experiences with them so I do recommend them if you aren’t looking for the cheapest price available. They do have sales and if you can get a coupon code for free shipping or something, it’s not bad.
This is what I got:
BasicGrey – Chip Shapes – Obscure
Bazzill Basics – Chips – Die Cut Chipboard Shapes – Arrows
Flair Designs – Trim with Flair – Self Adhesive Paper Trim – The Basics
I’ve never used plain chipboard before so it’s time to get creative…now if I could just find the time!
We celebrated my youngest son’s graduation from elementary school by taking him to Red Robin and having a little family party. It was a lot of fun and I took pictures with my new camera (which I still cannot figure out!). I will upload the pics as soon as I can to share with you. My entire family was there including my brother and his two sweet daughters.
I hope you all had a great July 4th weekend. I am super busy and haven’t had time to write much but look forward to catching up with everyone! Thanks so much for your comments and responses, I promise to get back to each of you asap!
