Hi everyone! Today I have a couple of layouts that I made using vintage photos from my mom’s senior year in 1964. I’ve been given a HUGE BOX of family photos dating back to the early 1900’s to scrapbook and preserve and I wanted to start with my mom’s photos. There is a fine line when it comes to scrapping vintage photos, you don’t want to get too artsy or over embellish because the photo is the subject of the page and everything else is like sprinkles on the icing if you know what I mean.
So these layouts are clean and simple but I think they showcase the photos well. The paper collections I used were from My Mind’s Eye, (Stella & Rose) and are several years old and retired but I will link to any other products that I used in the video, a the bottom of this post.
I get a lot of questions about the felt flowers I’ve been using recently so I created a video showing you how to make them and will upload that this week so stay tuned if you are interested in learning how to create them. 🙂
