Today was a fun day! I went to Goodwill, Lowes, Home Depot and Target and then to a movie with my 11 year old to see “New in Town” (disappointing movie). I can’t wait to get my camera fixed so I can upload pictures of my new treasures from Goodwill!
I finally broke down and bought some shelving hardware and another pegboard and the new floor vacuum I’ve been wanting, the Bissell Versus Bare Floor Vacuum.
I haven’t had a chance to use it yet but I sure hope it works! The reviews online are all positive (I review everything before buying!) I have never been able to find a decent vacuum for my floors.
I have a dog with long hair that sheds year round! Here is a picture of her, she’s a cutie patootie! Her name is Ginger!
I am excited (and overwhelmed) at the idea of getting my scrap room put together this weekend. I think I’ll go get my camera fixed so I can take pics before and after…I have SO much stuff, I have an addiction to shopping for organization stuff. (Thrift stores) I figure if I don’t use it in the scrap room, I’ll use it in the garage or somewhere else in my house. If not, I’ll freecycle it!
I’m hoping to go to Joanns and/or Michaels tomorrow. I need some mod podge and a color wheel and well, you know you can’t get out of those stores with just a couple of things LOL If it weren’t for the extra money I got this month, I’d never be able to do this, I just have to make it STRETCH!!!!
I think I’ve studied every picture of every scrap room on the internet 2 or 3 times each! Now it’s time to put my own room together. It’s so much harder than it looks, especially when you don’t have a husband or someone handy to do it for you (or a bigger budget!). I’ll post pictures during the process. Wish me luck!
