Hi everyone! I’ve been getting pretty crafty lately and thought I’d share some of my newest projects with you. I’ve got a few to show you so be sure to subscribe or check back later if you want to see them all.
This first project (sorry about the photo quality), was made using a free printable from Michael Ann Made called “Life a Crafty Life”. My dear friend Elisha has a wide format printer so she printed it on a sheet of 12×12 cardstock for me.
I simply added some bling trim along each side using my hot glue gun and some acrylic flowers that I’ve had in my stash for a few years to the top, left and bottom, right corners. The flourishes printed out a light blue and I didn’t think it matched the turquoise so I went over them my new “Peacock” stickles.
I decided to mat the page on a sheet of turquoise cardstock so I cut a little off the top and side, adhered them to one another, put it in a frame and voila! Instant wall art!
I know it’s not perfect so I plan on doing it better next time, but it was the first time I’d created something like this so I’m keeping it 🙂
I hope you will check back tomorrow to see my next project, which is an “Altered Letter K” for my craft room 🙂
