Washi Tapes & Paper Tapes – Winter 2012 CHA Releases

March 8, 2012 by Kat 3 Comments

So today I’m going to focus on Washi Tapes and Paper Tapes.  Washi tape is Japanese handmade paper tape if you don’t already know and it’s all the craze in scrapbooking right now.  Most of the tapes I’m going to show are new, a few are not, they are just my favorites.  Some of my favorites include the Chevron Washi Tapes I posted about yesterday.  Others are as follows:

My Absolute Favorite New Washi Tape!  (I just bought it last week!) is…

How adorable is that?  Here are a few places you can get it on Etsy.

You can never go wrong with solid colors and you can get sets of 10 in different colors and shades but my favorite is this:

10 Color Tape Set Solid Dark Colors

Some of my favorite sets include:

Dino-Mite Paper Tape By Bazzill Basics Paper

Vintage Market Paper Tape by Bazzill Basics Paper

Avalon Paper Tape by Bazzill Basics Paper

Washi Tapes Not Yet Released but Coming Soon!

Other Washi Tapes Include:

Sweet Bella Tapes

Hambly Washi Tapes

If you are interested in learning more about washi tape, how to use it and the differences between the brands, check out my friend Kate’s Washi tape video series below:

Thanks Kate for the great video tutorials!  You can visit Kate’s youtube Channel here!

Where to buy Washi Tape?

If you are wondering where to get washi tape, there are tons of places I can share with you.  First of all, Two Peas in a Bucket has some great washi tapes so I’d check with them first.  Then there is Scrapbook.com.   Amazon also has a huge selection of washi tapes.

Etsy also has some GREAT Washi Tape Stores, some of which include:

WashiWishes

leboxboutique  – Save 10% off your entire order with coupon code:  KATSMEOW10
PrettyTape

Kawaiigoodies

AdoreNeko

Then there are independent store websites that sell washi tape such as:

Cute Tape

Happy Tape

Uncommon Goods has a small selection

NEW!  Wishy Washi Tape (How cute is that name?)

I hope this post on washi and paper tapes was helpful!  Do you have a favorite washi tape?  Share it with us in the comments section below!

Tomorrow’s post will be on new and all time favorite paper collections/kits so be sure to come back and check it out!
