Kat’s Scrap Room Storage – Brads & Eyelets

April 15, 2012 by Kat 3 Comments

*Update* 2013 – check out my NEW brad storage system here.

I know I’ve been MIA lately but my laptop bit the dust and I had to get it fixed but it’s back in my little hands now so I thought I’d share some of my scrap room storage solutions with you while I’m going through my scrap room move.  More about that later. 🙂

I started out with some Fira Boxes that I bought at Ikea (they no longer sell these) and they started out looking like this:

So I spray painted mine red and black to match my scrap room and  made some circular, printable tags for each drawer and this is what they look like now.

and here is a closer look with the tags

As you can see, each drawer is labled by individual colors.  So I keep blue brads and eyelets in one drawer and red in another, and so on.  Here is a look inside my drawers.

This is one of the larger drawers:

This is one of the smaller drawers:

I had one extra large drawer left over so I use it to store my bling trim, etc.

So that is how I store my brads and eyelets.  If you are wondering what I store them IN (those little clear containers), I buy the jewelry/beading storage containers from Joanns or Michaels (always with a coupon!) and use those.  They come in three different sizes and work beautifully for me.

Thanks for stopping by today!  If you have any questions about how I store my brads and eyelets please feel free to leave a comment.
