I was contacted by Laura of the Button Farm Club who asked if she could send me a kit to review. (I have a listing of scrapbooking and embellishment kits here…. as well as a separate listing for card making kits, here). Of course I obliged, because I love doing reviews. (Stay tuned for a 20 % off coupon code for my readers/viewers at the bottom of this post!)
Last week I received a very large box that contained two kits. The first was the Button Farm Club Mini Album September 2015 Kit which also included the denim mini album shown in the second photo: (click photo to enlarge)
This is the beautiful three ring binder mini album covered in denim and filled with 10 chipboard pages, which was also included in this kit. (click photo to enlarge)
I was thoroughly happy with this kit. I love all of the papers included, cardstock and embellishments. I love the colors and how everything matched. I have subscribed to kits in the past where things didn’t always “go together” and that always bothered me because it meant I had left over product at the end of the month that didn’t go with anything else! That’s not a problem with this kit!
I was also impressed with the quality and brand names of the products included. The fact that I received full product packages and not “partial packs” of products was also impressive. These things make this kit stand out among others.
The price for this kit was $59.99 and you can get more information here.
The second kit is called the “Everyday Documented” Page Club Kit, however, everything in it can be used for regular scrapbooking as well! This is what came in that kit. (click photo to enlarge)
This kit also came with tons of cardstock, patterned paper and some great full packs of embellishments, as well as the project pamphlet with instructions.
The cost for this kit was $34.99 and you can find more information here.
I have to mention that I was super impressed that each kit came with a color printed pamphlet that includes projects with photos and instructions. They tell you how to create the projects shown with the products included in the kit. That’s fabulous and something that no other kit club I’ve ever subscribed to has done!
I also created a video sharing the products included in these kits in detail if you are interested. You can view the video in HD by clicking here, or you can watch below.
After having subscribed to other kits in the past I have to say that these kits are priced very reasonably and the quality and quantity of product you receive is more than fair! If you are looking for a new kit club to try out, I would highly recommend the Button Farm Club!
