Have you ever been frustrated with your craft mat slipping and sliding? Ever have a problem storing it without it getting wrinkled or bent? Well this craft mat solution will solve both of those problems! This was not my original idea, I think I saw it on Pinterest or in a video or something but I can’t remember where to give anyone credit.
The Ranger Craft Sheet is 15″ x 18″ so I bought one as well as a self healing cutting mat that was a similar size. (I ordered mine through my store but you can get a similar one on Amazon: Dahle 12″ x 18″ Vantage Self-Healing Cutting Mat) When they arrived, I took some spray adhesive and adhered my craft mat down to one side of my cutting mat. There was a little bit of the craft mat hanging over so using my scissors, I cut it to make it the same size.
Now, I have a craft mat on one side (that doesn’t slip or slide and there are no storage issues) and when I need to cut something, I simply flip over my mat and voila! Instant cutting mat. Here is a short video showing my mat in more detail because it’s difficult to photograph!
