My CHA Picks and Orders!

January 24, 2015 by Kat Leave a Comment

With CHA just in the rear view mirror and all the new releases having been shown online, there were a few things that I just had to have this season.  These are the products I’ve pre-ordered and am really looking forward to receiving.  (Some of these products are not linked because they haven’t been released yet.  If they aren’t linked, I ordered them wholesale, if they are, I ordered them through the store they are linked to).

WRMK Photo Sleeve FuseThe next thing I’ve pre-ordered is the WRMK Photo Sleeve Fuse Tool.  I need this tool badly!  It allows you to take a 12×12 photo sleeve and cut any size pockets you want!

For instance, I have about 8 5″x7″ senior photos of my mom that I want to scrap. I don’t want to scrap them all, I scrapped two of them and I want to put the rest in photo sleeves but they don’t make 12″x12″ photo sleeves with 5″x7″ pockets. Now I can make my own!

I’m psyched to get this tool.  Oh and all that memorabilia?  I can now cut pockets to fit all of that!  This tool is due to start shipping in February but I have my on reserve already!

Splatter CubbyOne of the tools I’m most interested in this year is this Splatter Cubby by Cosmo Cricket!  It is large enough to hold your 12″x12″ paper and protects your work surface while you spray or mist your papers.  It is also made of vinyl material so that it can be wiped clean after every use.  I have pre-ordered a bunch of these for my store (Kat Scrappiness) as well as two for me because I think they will be a big hit.  I am planning on using one for spraying and the other as a photo light box!  It looks perfect for that purpose doesn’t it? The good news is it is only $6.99.  The bad news is that it doesn’t come out until April so I have to wait, wait, wait.  (I hate waiting)

$_12One of the first things that caught my eye were the Lawn Fawn new Dye Ink Pads!  I knew instantly that I wanted to try them because the colors are just delicious!  I pre-ordered the entire set because I trust Lawn Fawn’s brand and I know they will be a high quality ink!

Tim Holtz Distress Ink - Cracked PistachioTim Holtz has announced that every month in 2015 he will release a brand new distress ink color and January’s color is this beautiful Cracked Pistachio.  I definitely want this color so I ordered it as well.  I do not have all of the Tim Holtz Distress Inks because I don’t feel that I would use all of the colors but I have the ones I like best and I am definitely excited to add this color to my collection.

Echo Park Jack and Jill Boy CollectionAs far as paper collections, there were several that I liked either in whole or in part but I’m waiting to buy them until I know what is coming in my Noel Mignon monthly scrapbooking kits.  I did order Echo Park’s Jack and Jill boy collection because having two sons, I’m always on the lookout for good boy collections!

Echo Park's Bundle Of Joy Boy Collection

I bought Echo Park’s Bundle of Joy Baby Boy Collection for both sons’ baby books.  Can you believe I started scrapping in the early 90’s just because I wanted to do my son’s baby books over and I’m still not finished?  I kept putting off doing them until “I was good enough” because I wanted their pages to be spectacular and here I am 20 years later, they are grown and I’ve not finished them.  Well 2015 is going to be the year I do that!  That’s one of my goals for this year.

I was a little more free with 6×6 paper pads because you can never have enough of those in my opinion.  These are a few of the ones I have ordered:

You can never have enough birthday paper and this one is perfect for all of my (5) nieces!  I love birthday themed papers!  (I also ordered this in 12 x 12 so I could scrap my nieces birthdays)

I had to have the boy collection as well! I bought this in 12 x 12 and 6×6.

Crate Paper's Craft MarketCrate Paper’s Craft Market – I thought this was a very cool collection and the only reason I didn’t buy it in 12×12 is because I’m hoping that I get some of it in my monthly scrapbooking kit from Noel Mignon.  If not, I’ll probably be ordering it in the future!  It has a lot of unique papers and I love the colors.

Kiss Kiss by Crate PaperKiss Kiss by Crate Paper was my choice for this year’s Valentine’s Day paper.  I don’t do a lot of Valentine Cards so I only buy one 6″x6″ paper pad per year.  It usually ends up being something by Crate Paper each year because I love the soft touch they add to their papers, especially their Valentine’s collections.  The problem is that it’s sold out everywhere and even buying wholesale, it’s on backorder!  I hope it gets here in time for me to make my cards!

I bought more for my store than I did for myself of course but believe me, there are a lot more products on my wish list! (Like Lawn Fawn’s new stamps and dies), but I have a budget so I will have to order some things later.  I just thought I’d share what my picks were from this season’s CHA!  What did you buy/pre-order?
