Yesterday, four of my friends and I attended an acrylic paint pouring class in Port Orchard, WA. and it was SO MUCH FUN! *(messy but fun). If you don’t know what acrylic paint pouring is, search youtube and you will find some great videos demonstrating the different techniques and such. Basically you get a few paint colors and mix in some stuff (that creates cells – i can’t remember what it’s called LOL) and then you pour all your colors into a cup a little at a time Then there are different ways to pour your paint onto the canvas and then you tilt and watch the magic happen!
I had to share what I made with you I love them both but the first one is my fave. We poured the paint mixture onto the canvas in a figure 8 for this pour.
This second pour was done using a flip cup technique and then “twisting” the cup as I lifted it. Then I added a “ribbon” in places that I thought were too blah (thats where the blue streaks are).
It was a great day of fun with my wonderful friends! We spent 2 1/2 hours at dinner afterwards and just had a lot of laughs. If you live in the Kitsap Country area and would like to attend one of these paint pouring classes, contact me and I’ll put you in touch with the instructor 🙂

You did a great job with your acrylic pour. Love the fact that it is done on canvas. I love the colors you chose but kind of love the second one you did with the blue running in to defuse the pastels. So you have 2 canvases to go on your wall. How long did it take for the canvas to dry completely? Keep up the good work.
