I was at the Dollar Store with my BFF a few weeks ago and ran across these great wooden trays that you hang on the wall (for lack of a better description). They are just plain wood and you can paint them, stain them, paper them, whatever you want. I decided to make one for the most dreamy man in the world, my Granddad 🙂
The picture I used is of my Grandparents several years back, before we lost my grandmom. As you can see from this picture they were IN LOVE with one another until the day she passed on. It was a beautiful thing to witness, especially if you’ve never experienced that kind of love or don’t believe it truly exists!
Anyway…here is the finished project. I painted the wooden tray white with acrylic paint and sprayed it with homemade pink shimmer spray/glimmer mist. I also used some of my favorite flower trim, a ton of word stickers from The Girls Paperie Sticker Market, some patterned paper that I cut out and some pearls. It’s my very first altered project so I think it was okay for a first try. I hope he loves it 🙂
Thanks for stopping by! Have a great day!
