I am SO SORRY I haven’t been blogging regularly or making youtube videos guys. Life around here has been crazy! Justin leaves tomorrow for another stint in rehab for 30 days and I’m in the process of house/apartment hunting and it’s really difficult in this school district to find something big enough for my family (and my scrap room LOL) that is in our price range that will take a 140 pound St. Bernard and doesn’t have stairs! (Mom can’t do stairs anymore because of her Parkinsons).
I don’t have the free time I used to have because mom can no longer drive or walk unassisted and I am usually taking her to a doctor’s appointment or shopping or something almost every day. I love spending time with her but it’s really difficult because I hurt my back so trying to get her walker in and out of the car and get her in and out of the car and into the house, etc is extremely painful and slow going. The good news is that I go for an MRI tomorrow to see what’s wrong with my back. Dr. is still trying to figure out what my breathing issues are though.
My brother’s mother in law, who is one of the sweetest ladies I’ve ever met was diagnosed with terminal cancer (sarcoma of the bone) and only given a few months to live and it’s weighing heavy on my heart. She beat breast cancer a few years ago and now this…. She is only 49 years old and she has four small grandchildren and she is in a lot of pain from the cancer. She has a strong faith in God which is helping her get through this.
My sister in law just lost her father a couple of months ago and now she is caring for and losing her mom. Her brother as murdered a few years ago too. I’ve never seen anyone have so much loss around them and my heart breaks for her. She has three little kids and my brother works long hours as a logger and she is struggling tremendously right now. Which brings me to my request from you guys.
If you could take a moment and make a card for both my brother’s MIL and my SIL, I know it would make their day! Cindy (the mom) has always been very crafty from sewing, stamping to decorating cakes, she did it all, so I know she will appreciate homemade cards and gifts, etc., As far as my SIL, (Kristenah), she just needs some support and love because I can’t imagine going through what she’s been through in her young life. (She’s 29).
If you are interested in making a card or two and sending them to these ladies please contact me and I’ll give you their address. Thank you so much in advance for your kindness and for giving them some love and support during this most difficult time.
As for me, I’ll try to keep you updated but am not sure how much I’ll be blogging since I’m not getting a lot of scrapbooking done. I did do about half a dozen layouts this last month but I didn’t take pictures or film the process, I just did them to release some anxiety and didn’t want to bother (lol)
I hope your lives are going well and that you start and end each day with a hug from someone you love. 🙂 Until next time…
