What I’ve been up to lately…

I am so sorry I haven’t been blogging much but things have been busy around here!  On a personal front, Justin hasn’t been doing well at all, he had a bad relapse and your thoughts and prayers would be greatly appreciated right now.  (Thanks in advance).  Tyler is adjusting pretty well to public school.  As far as I am concerned, I’ve been busy making felt embellishments for my new Etsy Shop (Kat Scrappiness).  It’s so much fun!  I’ve been really lucky and have had 7 sales so far! I’m so grateful to those that are supporting my new crafty endeavor!  So thank you to those of you who have ordered from me! 

I have only completed one layout and one card since I opened the shop!  I know! I know! Terrible isn’t it?  I just haven’t had time!  Here is the layout I finished for Tyler’s 14th birthday!  I used Basic Grey’s Life of the Party collection on this layout.

And here is the card I made for my BFF’s birthday.  I used the same collection but in the 6×6 paper pad size to make the card.  The flower was a white flower from I Am Roses and I sprayed it with my homemade mist spray.  First with red, then with Espresso brown.

That’s pretty much all that is going on here.  The weather has cooled off nicely and I think it’s safe to pack away my portable air conditioner for the fall/winter/spring!  Thank goodness!  The 3 pound kitten (guessing on his weight), is still ruling the 140 pound St. Bernard (Abby) and the 105 pound Malamute (Ginger) so life around here can be amusing at times!  I haven’t had a cat in 15 years so it’s pretty funny to watch how he interacts with people and the dogs.  My moms dogs come over and spend the night at least once a week (Cocker Spaniel and Bichon Frise) and the kitten rules them too!
