Hello dear readers. I wanted to let you know that my mom, Holly, passed away on August 29, 2019. I want to take a moment to thank all of you who have followed my family over the years and especially, my mom’s valiant fight with Parkinson’s Disesase. She was so very brave and so full of grace until the very end. My mom loved me like nobody will ever love me again and I loved her with all of my being. She was my best friend for many years and we did everything together until she got married. Then I had to share her with my step-dad LOL (which I didn’t mind, because he made her so happy).
My step-dad took care of her 24/7 from day one of her diagnosis, without complaint. He truly was her knight in shining armor. I will be forever grateful to this man I call dad and hope to call him dad for the rest of my life. I’m not sure if he will ever see this post but if he does, I hope he knows how much we love and appreciate him. (Yes I tell him this in person too).
I’d like to say more, but I really can’t without losing it right now so I will just post a link to her Celebration of Life Pamphlet if you’d like to read it. Again, thank you so much for caring enough to follow her story on my blog.

I am so deeply sorry for you loss. It is a difficult road to travel, but I promise you it will get better. Please remember the wonderful times you had with your Mother and enjoy those moments. I lost my Mother in 1997, she was almost 93 years old. God bless you and your family and my God hold you in his loving arms while you travel this road.

Thank you so much Shirley. I’m glad you got to spend so many years with your mom. That’s a blessing but it doesn’t make it any easier when we lose them does it? Again, thanks so much. 🙂
