Okay so I’m not a seamstress BUT I have sew on scrapbook paper and cards and I have not been able to find curtains that I like so I decided to buy some fabric and make my own. (which turned out to be more expensive than buying them already made but that’s okay, I appreciate mine much more now! lol)
I didn’t have a pattern but my friend Elisha and I just folded over the top, bottom and sides and went for it. As long as you don’t look closely at the sewing lines (which are up and down and all around because apparently I can’t sew a straight line LOL), they look just fine 🙂 Here is a picture of two of the ones I made. I haven’t hung the third just yet. What do you think? (be kind please LOL)
I have had a lot of requests for pictures of the inside of our new home since I showed pics of the outside last month when we moved in so here you go 🙂 (I didn’t photograph the upstairs or any of our bedrooms/bathrooms because, well that’s personal LOL)
I just realized I didn’t take photos of the “living” side of the living room so I’ll have to do that next time I take pictures. Right now I’m in bed suffering the aftereffects of spending the entire day yesterday walking around Seattle, Pike’s Place Market, etc! But it was loads of fun and I had so much fun with my friends!
Here’s one more photo to share with you, this is the first layout I’ve made in a very long time (since I began to move!), it’s of my friend Elisha and I in a photo booth in the mall. Nothing special but I’m sharing it with you anyway 🙂
Thanks so much for subscribing/reading my blog! I’ll be back soon!

You curtains are wonderful! There is such a sense of accomplishment when you make something with your own two hands. And you should feel very accomplished! So happy for you in your new pretty home!
